Clothing should be highly personal we think, not a mass product. You have to like it. So first we want to know who you are. That's why we always talk to you. We look at the environment in which you move, what you feel comfortable in and which production method suits you. Not quite sure what suits you? No problem! We are the experts and will gladly guide you through our process and advice. We guarantee that you will like your chosen outfit. If not, we'll remake it. But because we get to know you well, we are confident that your outfit will fit you completely and be unique. A highly personalized beautiful guarantee. If not beautiful, we will gladly start over.(Maximum 1 time and do follow our advice)
Pass Guarantee
Tailoring is often seen as a luxury. But everyone is unique, which is why we see it as an enjoyable necessity. We make all of our clothes completely customized for you. You determine how we make your suits, shirts and pants. Unique, just like you. Of course we also give you tailor-made advice. And do you change your weight or wishes in the meantime? Of course that can happen, no problem. We give a 3-year fitting guarantee on pants, jackets, suits and the like so that your clothes fit and stay fitting. (Provided no more than 5 cm difference after first measurement and maximum 1 time)
Sustainability Guarantee
When you are well dressed, you are comfortable in your skin and your qualities come into their own. Your entire environment benefits from that. And it also lasts longer. Everything lasts longer and gets added value if you pay attention to it. And we like to give that attention. We do everything consciously. You also consciously choose slow fashion because you know that timeless things say much more about you. By producing for everyone personally, we keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. In addition, we work with natural and reusable materials. We offer a durability guarantee and guarantee that the fabrics will last at least three years with normal use. Craft Guarantee
Picking out tailor-made clothing and having it made is an experience in itself. NEW TAILOR is one of the few tailors in Europe that can still make a full suit in house. And we do this with a lot of love. Our offices in Amsterdam and Utrecht house a workshop where our tailors and cutters work on the best fit for your suit, shirt or pants. In addition, in house we always like to put the finishing touches by hand. So we can always adjust something to your outfit, even afterwards. We only work with lovers of this craft for anyone who appreciates this craft. And that is appreciated. Not for nothing do we score a 4.8+ on Google Review!
Our manufacturing methods
NEW TAILOR - Atelier Utrecht
Als één van de weinige kleermakers in de Benelux maken we nog jasjes en pakken in huis. Voor onze Pakken, Jasjes & Urbans gebruiken we slechts de stof, een uniek patroon en de ambachtelijke skills van onze kleermaaksters. Het resultaat is een comfortabel, ambachtelijk en duurzaam kledingstuk dat aan alle kanten passend is. Het hele proces van het uitzoeken, snijden, maken, passen en dragen is een unieke belevenis die alleen daarom al leuk is en waarde toevoegt. En we zorgen ervoor dat alle materialen uit Europa komen. Zo houden we footprint minimaal.
NEW TAILOR - Carrara
Handgemaakte jasjes, broeken, vesten, overjassen en pakken op maat laten we bewust in Italië maken bij het verfijnde atelier Sartoria Carrara van Sergio, Angela & Paul. De Italiaanse verfijndheid en souplesse zie je al als het kledingstuk op de hanger hangt. Als je het aantrekt, voel je in elke vezel dat het met liefde en aandacht gemaakt is. De constructie en de gebruikte fournituren van de jasjes zijn zo licht dat je het jasje nauwelijks voelt. Eén van de eerste klanten die we bij NEW TAILOR een pak aan mochten meten zei destijds al: ‘het voelt aan als een pyjama’. Bovenal ziet het er super strak, mooi en stijlvol uit.
NEW TAILOR - Est. 1997
Onze huislijn wordt geheel volgens ambachtelijke principes gemaakt in de beste ateliers van Europa en India. Voor onze shirts, jasjes op maat en maatpakken ontwerpen we steeds een uniek snit die past bij jou en de gewenste snit; bijna alles kan. De constructie van de jasjes heeft bij NEW TAILOR Est. 1997 lijn een iets formeler karakter maar draagt nog steeds zeer soepel. Door het deels losse binnenwerk gaat het steeds meer naar je lichaam staan. Kleding wordt daardoor door de tijd alleen maar mooier en fijner. Naast onze icons als de peacoat, het jacquet, de smoking en de diverse soorten smart casual en business pakken bieden we in deze lijn ook chino’s, knitwear en spijkerbroeken aan. Op maat uiteraard.
