Since 2001 we have been working with Sergio's atelier from Carrara, Tuscany, Italy. And not for nothing because this is where the most beautiful, refined and supple suits and jackets are made in Italy. The inner workings and construction are so refined that you will be able to wear the clothes like a second thin skin. In fact, there is no finer suit to be found in the Netherlands.

Here, the patterns are still laid on the fabric by hand, shifted and then cut by hand. Of course, the suits are then also assembled by hand (and machine). The sleeve and collar seams are still done entirely by hand. And you notice that. When you put on the jacket or suit, a smile appears on your face every day.

NEW TAILOR - Est. 1997

Our house line is made entirely according to artisanal principles in the best ateliers in Europe and India. For our shirts, tailored jackets and tailored suits, we always design a unique cut to suit the times. Also at NEW TAILOR - Est. 1997 has a loose interior for more suppleness. Clothing therefore only becomes more beautiful and fine with time. Full Canvas is what the English call it. Besides our icons like the peacoat, themorning coat, the tuxedo and the various types of smart casual and business suits, we also offer chinos, knitwear and jeans in this line. Made-to-measure, of course.

NEW TAILOR - The Lounge

As one of the few tailors in the Benelux we still make jackets and suits in-house. For our Lounge Jacket & Worker Jacket we use only the fabric, a unique pattern and the craft skills of our tailors. The result is a comfortable, sporty and durable jacket that wears like a vest and looks like a jacket. The whole process of picking, cutting, fitting and making the NEW TAILOR jackets is a unique experience that adds value for that reason alone. When picking the materials, we also make sure that they come from the Netherlands as much as possible. That way we keep footprint to a minimum.

Easy wear

You want to look groomed every day, and feel comfortable in your clothes. The need for beautiful luxury clothing with more comfort, a sportier look and the need for sustainability, have resulted in the further development of our smart casual range; we call it Easy Wear. You can basically wear it anytime and anywhere. In addition to Easy Wear jackets, we are of course also happy to make your chinos, pullovers and casual shirts for you. Made-to-measure, of course. And also in the NEW TAILOR Carrara line. 

Business Wear

The assurance of a good first impression can be found in our Business Wear line. Of course, in addition to suits, we as tailors also make combinations of jackets and a chino that you can and want to wear in a business environment. Just a little more formal and dressier than Easy Wear.

By a little more structure and inner work and just more formal fabrics. With a little more shine, for example, you make an impression and the content becomes more important. So it's clothing you don't have to worry about.

Wedding Wear

A wedding suit of course involves just a bit more than buying a business suit, which is why we like to take all the time we can to inspire and help you with the many choices. See examples in the stores; also our magazines will help you make the right choice. We have a lot of experience in making clothes for a wedding and other formal occasions. From a tuxedo for formal dinners or a jacquet, a bohemian combination to the ultimate linen wedding outfit for the beach.
