Exclusive Business shirts

Shirts are becoming increasingly important because you don't always have that jacket on anymore. A good shirt sets you apart from the crowd and shows you go for quality. A collar that stays nice and does not sag. Nowhere too small or too big and visibly beautiful fabric. And finished off with real mother-of-pearl buttons. NEW TAILOR shirts are distinguished by their fit and quality down to the last detail. Very fine stitching, unlimited choice of collars, cuffs and yoke details and extremely many fabrics from various Italian and Swiss weavers. We also customize the inside of the collar and cuff to the type of fabric, model, wearer and season. We work with fabrics from Albini, Thomas Mason, DJ Anderson and Canclini for example. We have very exclusive fabrics like Giza cotton, beautiful Japanese Denims and very refined Super 200 and 300 fabrics from Anderson.

Shirt Made to Measure

Twills and oxfords are our favourite because they don't show through, stay nice for a long time and are low maintenance. The selection and fitting of one or more shirts takes about half an hour. We are happy to advise you about the look, design, ease of use, the model et cetera. For business shirts, we usually recommend white or light blue shirts. Refined stripes are also a good choice. Other colours should be chosen consciously in themorning . For a made-to-measure shirt, we take twelve measurements and look extensively at the body posture. Together with you we determine, among other things, the degree of tailoring and sleeve lengths. About four to six weeks later, the shirts are ready to wear.

Custom made

Selecting and fitting one or more shirts takes about half an hour. We are happy to advise you on the look, design, ease of use, model, etc. For business shirts, we usually recommend white or light blue shirts. Refined stripes are also a good choice. Other colours are a good option but should be chosen consciously in the morning. For a made-to-measure shirt, we take twelve measurements and take your posture. into account for extra comfort. Together with you, we determine, the degree of fittedness and sleeve lengths among other things. About four to six weeks later, the shirts are ready to wear.

The White Shirt

Contrast in an outfit makes for a formal and business appearance and the most impact; especially live. There is a reason why a white shirt is the ultimate business shirt. It pairs well under blue and gray suits and does well under suits with stripes or small checks. For a business shirt, we like a double cuff also because it makes you stand out even further from the crowd and you can show even more of yourself with a cufflink. 

The Blue Shirt

The lighter blue your shirt the more businesslike and formal the shirt comes across. Light blue is softer than a white shirt under your suit and thus your appearance becomes softer and you as a person a little more approachable. Light blue is also more practical on the hem than a white shirt. We have light blue of course in a fill a fill, twill, oxford and chambrays in various thicknesses. For business shirts, we actually always choose 100% cotton and preferably in a traveler quality. 

The Striped Shirt

A striped shirt is a nice alternative to a plain light blue shirt. From a distance, especially with narrow stripes, it also looks almost plain. The lighter the color stripe and the closer together the more formal. A shirt with a stripe is a classic and just a little more fresh, playful and perhaps quirky than a plain shirt. Besides a few white and light blue solid shirts, there should be two to three in your closet.
